ZPHS Uppalwai established in 1964 as elementary primary school. It was upgraded in 1976 as ZPHS Uppalwai. It is near to Gidda, Posanipet and Moshampur villages. About 150 students’ study here, we have a boys hostel of 100 capacity. Students from different mandals of our district stay here. Some of them are orphans and some of them are very poor. We mainly depend on hostel students because the villages which are nearer to us developed their primary schools to High schools. Our students need help to improve their skills and interests.

So many students of our school settled in government sector as well as in private sector in high position. We are very proud to say that many students of our school got admissions in IIIT Basar , NMMS scholarships and 100â„… results in SSC continuously from last 4 years. If we fulfill their needs, they can do more better. The govt providing some basic needs but not almost. With help of PFI we are giving advance studies like AI(Robotics technology) and other value added programs. If we provide more needs of the students, they can advance lot more. We have library, seminar hall, science and mathematics lab, but we do not have Kitchen shed to cook food for children, separate waiting rooms to girls, games material, Home theatre and sound system, Science lab material etc
